Love on the rocks

No big surprise. Right?

I've also just written what will probably be my last report from Belgrade for MaltaMedia. It's actually the start of what comes next for me with regards to the performance studies angles I come chasing after at this controversial event.

As for the rest of it, here are some names, for amusement purposes only:

4 songs I think could win the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest final:

  • Ukraine: Ani Lorak - Shady Lady
  • Bosnia & Herzegovina: Laka - Pokušaj
  • Portugal: Vânia Fernandes - Senhora Do Mar (Negras Águas)
  • Spain: Rodolfo Chikilicuatre - Baila El Chiki Chiki

  • 4 songs I like from the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest final:
  • Georgia: Diana Gurtskaya - Peace Will Come
  • Bosnia & Herzegovina: Laka - Pokušaj
  • Finland: Teräsbetoni - Missä Miehet Ratsastaa
  • Turkey: Mor ve Ötesi- Deli

  • Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Always read your blog with interest during this time of year plus I think you're the ONLY one that made sense on Xarabank - yours is an informed opinion, arrived at logically - no political, financial or emotional attachment or motivation to the darn thing!

Sorry mate.. this time I think you're wrong.. Portugal.. u said? Not sure the Eastern block would give it 10 points.. combined!!!.. and SPAIN??.. again, the Eastern Europeans won't see the joke, like they didn't get Dunstan the Turkey!

Over all.. I beleive the following will be in the top 5

    1. Greece 2. Serbia (yes again!)3Armenia

Personally, really love Israel's song.. the music is really good accompanied by strong vocals: surprised it qualified at all and yep, love Finland's song! Though definately not the Euro type

    cheers

After having heard them tonight, I believe that the best four are Romania, Sweden, Albania, and Denmark. Eventhough Serbia's song is not that bad either.. :)
    Will see in a while!
    Cheers Toni!
