Rikki Lee Scicluna made quite a splash on the Maltese music scene in 2013 as the front man for popular rock band Gypsy Genes. He has now started recording as a solo artist under his name. This is his first release and he has promised that there are others in the pipeline.
Wayne William – Don’t Fade Away
Corazon – Fid-Dar tan-Nanna
Popular Maltese singer Corazon has collected a number of her Maltese songs and complied them into an album with input from executive producer Steve Borg. The album, Hawn Jien, was launched with an impressive concert at the University of Malta’s Sir Temi Zammit Hall on Saturday 11 January 2014.
Ħolma Qattusa – Nasba
Martha Vassallo and Antoine Vella collaborate with guitarist Kyle Farrugia for this new track they’ve just released; their first for 2014. I’m sure there will be others this year and I must say I’m very much looking forward to more from them.
