Carrie Haber has gone from strength to strength over the past several years. It’s fairly clear to anyone who has followed her career closely over time (as have the regular listeners of the MMI podcast) that this latest offering demonstrates a notable development in studio production, taking it to a level of sophistication that certainly makes the work of this Malta-born singer-songwriter sound less ordinary than it ever has.

Here’s a song with a fairly elaborate story that I’m now involved in capturing on the M3P database. I am sure that there are many other songs with similarly interesting stories from the Maltese music scene. Not all songs fall within this category, of course, but the ones that do make things a little more special.
