Caravana SunAshes
Luke Caruana’s Aussie band return to Europe for their fourth summer European tour and the launch this new single from their third album, which will be released later on this year. They will be appearing in France, Italy, Holland, Portugal, Austria, and Switzerland. They also have a Malta date on Thursday 30 July 2015 at the Farsons Beer Festival in Ta’ Qali.

Jon Lukas WoodenmanSecrets
Just when you thought he’d called it a day, Jon Lukas Woodenman returns with this very well-crafted offering. Perhaps this is just another good pop song from someone who has been around for decades, or maybe there’s more to it than meets the eye (or should that be ear). Whatever it is, I like it…and I’m sure many of his worldwide fans and new listeners will too.

Forty Days of RainEverything You Want
I honestly don’t understand all the local buzz about this song. It’s not bad but there’s nothing too remarkable about it either. I thought there would at least be a promotional video of some sort to justify all the airplay it’s currently receiving in Malta. Then again, perhaps it’s just a radio friendly song, especially for the generic playlists of most Maltese radio stations. I’m not trying to put it (or the band) down. I’m just not as wowed as I get the feeling I’m expected to be.
